1. For the pilotage of a ship from Hull to Goole or vice versa, or from any place to any other place both within those limits (except those places referred to in paragraph 2 hereof). For the pilotage of a ship from the South Channel, opposite Hull, to Goole or vice versa or from any other place to any other place both within those limits (except those places referred to in paragraph 2 hereof). |
In cargo. Not exceeding 300 tons gross tonnage, £209.06 plus £5.78 for every 100 tons or part thereof on the excess of gross tonnage over 300 tons. In ballast. Not exceeding 300 tons gross tonnage, £147.73 plus £3.95 for every 100 tons or part thereof on the excess of gross tonnage over 300 tons.

| 2. For the pilotage of a ship from New Holland, Barrow or Hessle Haven to Goole. | In cargo. Not exceeding 300 tons gross tonnage, £165.50 plus £5.78 for every 100 tons or part thereof on the excess of gross tonnage over 300 tons. In ballast. Not exceeding 300 tons gross tonnage, £117.75 plus £3.94 for every 100 tons or part thereof on the excess of gross tonnage over 300 tons.

| 3. Where a ship under pilotage between Hull and Goole and vice versa and by reason of lack of water in the navigable channel is detained at Blacktoft on the River Ouse until a later tide. | The appropriate pilotage rate prescribed in paragraphs 1 or 2 hereof shall be increased by 50%. |
